Economic Development Strategies

A majority of work conducted by Strategy 5 can be portrayed in terms of economic development strategies. In fact, virtually all professional assignments completed by the firm have been driven by the desire to create economic benefits in the form of private capital investment, jobs, new fiscal revenues, spending by visitors in a local economy, etc. However, the firm and its Principals have also completed numerous comprehensive economic development plans which combine a variety of elements that have drawn on our depth of knowledge and experience. These are profiled in this section.

The economic development strategy for the Rock Hill, SC Textile Corridor utilizes the adaptive reuse of old mill buildings. This project is well underway in 2008.
The revitalization of the historic Third Street entertainment district in Niagara Falls proceeds apace with the opening of new food and beverage establishments.
